CUSD schools will be closed for the February break from Monday, Feb. 12 through Monday, Feb. 19 (Presidents' Day). The District Office will be closed Monday, Feb. 12 and Monday, Feb. 19 (open Feb. 13-16). We will look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
As a reminder, students with 0-1 absences in February are automatically entered into their school's drawing for a PlayStation 5! 👊

What a phenomenal turnout for this evening’s CUSD Community Town Hall! Thank you to CUSD families, staff, and everyone who braved the rain to support success for all students. 🥰 A special shout out to our Student Services and Special Education teams who planned and coordinated this event, and to our community partners including Meena Tadimeti and Special Needs in My City, Valley Mountain Regional Center, Arc of the Valley, Disability Resources Agency for Independent Living-DRAIL, and California Department of Rehabilitation. The countdown is on! ⏰ Priority TK/Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens Thursday, Feb. 1 for CUSD schools of choice: Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy, Caswell Elementary Dual Language Academy, Patricia Kay Beaver Leadership Magnet, and Whitmore Charter School of the Arts and Technology! Registration for all other CUSD schools begins March 1! Incoming students must be at least 4 by June 2, 2024.

This sounds like a fun opportunity for our current mustangs and a way to cheer on our graduating former Westport students! Plus, they are offering a $5.00 special for all k-8 students who have their student ID. For $5.00, students with their student ID will get to watch the game, and drink and pizza!
