The "CUSD Reads" Superintendent's Book Club is back for 2025-26!
Students, read any book on your own time, write a review, and earn this month's reward. Say hello to October's sticker, LaBookBook.
But wait, there's more! New this year, be among the first 20 students at your school to submit 10 reviews (grades TK-6) or 5 reviews (grades 7-12) by Nov. 30, 2026, and win a CUSD Reads water bottle! Turn in 25, 50, 75, or 100+ reviews by March 30, 2026 to earn milestone stickers.
And don't forget ... each review counts as in entry in your school's year-end drawing for an e-reader. The more books you read and review, the greater your odds of winning!

It's a new month and a new theme for the #CUSDreads Superintendent's Book Club! February's theme, Heritage/History/Family, is inspired by Black History Month. Students who read any book and turn in a review by the end of the month earn a "Reading Is My Jam" sticker, plus an entry in their school's year-end e-reader drawing! Let's 📚 get 📚 reading! #TheCeresWay

In the first two months of this year's #CUSDreads Superintendent's Book Club, students rocketed past last year's October-March total of nearly 5,500 books. Will they hit 1️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ this year? Stay tuned!
In the meantime, any student who reads any book on their own time and turns in a review at their school library or the Ceres Public Library by the end of January will take home this cool-as-a-cucumber sticker! Be dill-iberate about reading ... it's #TheCeresWay! 😎

🏫 CUSD schools are closed Friday, Dec. 19 through Monday, Jan. 5
🗓 The District Office is open except Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1
Hazel Health free online medical visits are available to all enrolled CUSD students throughout Winter Break, except Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
We wish everyone safe and happy holidays and look forward to welcoming students back to school on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026.

And there's more! Every review a student turns in this month counts as one entry in their school's drawing to see "Dog Man: The Musical" at the Gallo Center (grades TK-6) or win a Fandango gift card (grades 7-12)! 🐾🎵🎟
Are you still here? Let's get reading! 📚💙
