CV Swim
Ari Luman competed at the Sac-Joaquin Section Swim Meet last week. This is the first time CV has had a swimmer qualify for the Section Meet. He was the only swimmer in all of league to compete in the Finals, and he proudly represented the WAC placing 11th overall in the Men's 50yd Freestyle with a time of 23.13 and 13th overall in the Men's 100yd Freestyle with a time of 51.33.
Baseball and Softball
Both our CV baseball and softball teams had their seasons come to an end in the playoffs. Last Friday, the CV baseball team traveled to St. Mary’s and were defeated by the Rams. Congrats to our baseball team on their WAC Championship season and a top 8 finish in Division 1, the best finish in school history. On Wednesday, the CV softball season concluded at Whitney High in Rocklin as the top-seeded Wildcats defeated the Hawks. Congrats to our softball team on a great season in which they finished in 2nd place in the WAC and won a play-in playoff game.
Boys Golf, Boys Tennis, and Track
As the Spring sports season winds down, we still have a handful of Hawks competing. For boys golf, Adolfo Diaz will compete in the SJS Masters Tournament next Tuesday at Spanos Park in Stockton. On Monday, our boys tennis double teams of Osvaldo Cisneros/Silas Rodriguez and Roman Parodi/Avori Ortega will compete in the Section Tournament in Roseville, and CV Track will represent this Saturday at the SJS meet at Sac City College in Sacramento. Good luck to all of our Hawks!
