The CV gym was buzzing with excitement on Friday night as the Hawks had a night to remember with a program-wide sweep in the Crosstown Showdown over the Ceres Bulldogs. All 3 levels dominated play with the Varsity Hawks capping things off with a convincing 69-47 win. CV was led by Jace McLennon (23 pts) and Parteek Sohal (9 pts). The win puts the Hawks in a 4th place tie in the WAC, 2 games behind the 3-place Johansen Vikings for the WAC’s 3rd and final automatic playoff qualifier spot. CV will still see each league team one more this season and this 2nd half of WAC play begins this Wednesday at home against the Grace Davis Spartans 4:15pm/5:45pm/7:00pm.
