The Hawks have been busy with several pre-season meets, but WAC Center Meet #1 kicked off the league season this past Wednesday. It was a glorious setting as the WAC teams gathered at O’Neill Forebay near the Pacheco Pass on a beautiful morning. All levels improved on their finishes from last season as the Hawks looked poised and refreshed. The CV program has a very young roster and that proved successful at the Frosh-Soph level. In the Frosh-Soph boys race, the Hawks dominated with 3 top 5 finishes including: Isaiah Ruiz (2nd), Jose Mendoza Comparan (3rd), and Armando Gutierrez (5th).
