Stunt Cheer

The CV Stunt Cheer team (1-0) started off their season with a thrilling 15-4 win over the Golden Valley Cougars last Thursday.  The Hawks will look to turn this into a winning streak as they travel to Livingston High tomorrow night to take on the Wolves.

Boys Volleyball

It has been a busy start to the season for the Hawks Boys Volleyball program as CV currently sits at a record of 4-7.  This includes wins over Ceres (2), Delhi, and Pitman.  The Hawks are currently 0-2 in CCC play and will look to get in the win column tonight when they host the Patterson Tigers.

Swimming

The Hawks have been waiting patiently for our brand new swimming pool to open.  In the meantime, they have been training hard over at the Ceres High pool as the season is well under way.  The Hawks have had 2 meets so far and both the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls are 1-1 overall as they both notched wins against Livingston High on March 1st.  In very exciting news, the Hawks were able to practice at home, here at the CV pool, for the first time yesterday!!  They are extremely excited to have a home of their own for the remainder of this season and many seasons to come.

Track

The track season will really heat up today as the Hawks travel to Patterson for the 1st of the CCC Center meets.  This year’s track program has one of the largest rosters in CV history with a current total of 107 athletes.  Congrats to Anthony Ramirez for breaking the school record with a long jump of 20 feet, 9 inches in last week’s pre-season meet at Riverbank.  Good luck to all of our track and field athletes today.
