Girls Soccer

Varsity: Central Valley 2, El Capitan 1

JV: Central Valley 3, El Capitan 1

The Varsity Girls Soccer team kicked off the CCC league season with a huge 2-1 win over El Capitan.  The Gauchos are a returning playoff team so this is a solid win for the Hawks.  The JV girls also picked up a nice win.  The Lady Hawks are now 7-1 overall and 1-0 in CCC play.  CV will be back in action on the Manteca Tournament on Friday and Saturday where they will take on Lathrop in the first round. 

Boys Soccer

Varsity: Central Valley 3, El Capitan 1

JV: Central Valley 4, El Capitan 0

The Varsity Boys Soccer team bounced back from a couple of losses in the East Union Tournament with a solid 3-1 win over the El Capitan Gauchos in CCC play.  CV goals were by Yahir Pérez, Miguel Serrano, and Enrique López, assisted by Alejandro Garcia, Alexys Cervantes, and Ivan Cervantes.  This win puts the Hawks overall record at 7-2-1, 1-0 in CCC.  The JV Hawks also won by the score of 4-0 to up their overall record to 10-0 this season.  The JV Hawks have allowed just 3 total goals this entire season.  All 3 levels will be back in action today as the Hawks take the long drive to Antelope to take on the Antelope Titans.

Boys Basketball

Varsity: Johansen 66, Central Valley 51

Varsity: Hughson 56, Central Valley 46

JV: Johansen defeats Central Valley

Frosh-Soph: Central Valley defeats Johansen

Frosh-Soph: Central Valley defeats Hughson

The Hawks basketball program has a busy week as they have already played both Johansen and Hughson, then CV will play Ceres High on Friday and Riverbank on Saturday.  The Hawks dropped both games this week, but look to get back on track this Friday night when they host the Ceres Bulldogs in the Crosstown Showdown.  The Frosh-Soph Hawks picked up 2 straight wins this week! 

Girls Basketball

Varsity: Oakdale 29, Central Valley 21

Varsity: Johansen 54, Central Valley 24

The Girls Varsity Basketball team dropped a couple of games this week and will look to get things going at the Johansen Tournament over the next few days.  They will then play Ceres in their Crosstown Showdown at Ceres High on Monday, December 11th.

Boys Wrestling

Varsity: Davis 48, Central Valley 36

Varsity: Central Valley 43, Ceres 34

JV: Central Valley 54, Davis 30

JV: Central Valley 44, Ceres 24

The Varsity Boys took a split last night in a couple of team duals as they dropped one to the Davis Spartans, but beat crosstown rival, Ceres High.  The JV Boys picked up the sweep with 2 solid wins.  The Varsity Boys are  now 2-1 on the year while the JV boys are 3-0.  The CV Wrestling program will continue their busy schedule with the Varsity Boys traveling to Oakdale this weekend for the Riddle Classic.
