The Lady Hawks represented very well at the East Union tournament over the weekend. CV picked up solid wins against Oakdale, Kimball, and Downey, but fell in the championship game to the Lodi Flames. The Hawks are now an impressive 6-1 to start the season. CV will begin CCC play tomorrow when they host the El Capitan Gauchos in an early season, crucial matchup.

The Hawks ran into some tough competition at the East Union tournament over the weekend and went 1-2-1 overall at the tourney. CV was able to pick up a win against Mountain House and a tie against a solid Turlock High team. The Hawks dropped two very tight games against a couple of playoff programs with a narrow 1-0 loss to Valley of Sacramento and a 2-1 loss against future WAC opponent, Grace Davis. The Hawks are now 6-2-1 overall as they look to get the CCC league play season going tomorrow when they travel to El Capitan to take on the Gauchos.

Congrats to our JV Boys Soccer team for continuing the early season success with an impressive 4-0 showing and tournament Championship at East Union this weekend. The Hawks defeated Lathrop, Valley, and McClatchy to earn a trip to the title game. In the championship, the Hawks took on a familiar foe in CCC rival Patterson, and CV came away with the 4-1 win. The JV Hawks are now 9-0 overall and will begin CCC play tomorrow at El Capitan.
