JV: Central Valley 6, Lathrop 4
The Lady Hawks kept their hot start to the season going as they upped their record to 3-0 with a dominating 4-0 win at Lathrop High last night. CV now has wins over Turlock, Ceres, and Lathrop to start the season. The JV Hawks also picked up another win with a solid 6-4 victory over the Spartans. The Varsity Hawks will be back in action today at the East Union Tournament with games against Oakdale and Kimball. On Saturday, the Hawks will take on the Downey Knights in this same tournament.

Frosh-Soph: Johansen 49, Central Valley 48
The Frosh-Soph Hawks fell just short in their bid for their first win of the young season by the score of 49-48 to the Johansen Vikings. CV will look to get in the win column this afternoon in their game against the Davis Spartans.
