Girls Tennis

Livingston defeats Central Valley 7-2

The Hawks Girls Tennis team dropped a CCC contest to the Livingston Wolves by the score of 7-2.  CV wins came from Lliria Lira Trinidad at 1 singles and Harkiran Sandhu at 6 singles.  The Hawks battled as they lost 3 matches in 3 sets.  CV Girls Tennis will be back in action next Tuesday then they travel to Golden Valley to take on the Cougars.

Football

Varsity: Patterson 51, Central Valley 6

JV: Patterson 6, Central Valley 0

Frosh-Soph: Patterson 12, Central Valley 0

Last night, the Hawks were defeated by Patterson in CCC matchup.  The lone score for the Hawks came on an impressive kickoff return touchdown run by Josiah Sandoval.  Josiah also had an interception in last night’s ball game.  The Hawks are now 4-4 overall and 2-2 in CCC play as they look to get back on track next Friday night at Atwater High against the Falcons. 

Girls Flag Football (from Wednesday)

Varsity: Buhach Colony 12, Central Valley 8

JV: Buhach Colony 32, Central Valley 0

The Hawks were defeated by the Buhach Colony Thunder in a CCC Wednesday night flag football matchup.  CV will be back in action next Tuesday when they host the Golden Valley Cougars on Senior Night. 

Girls Volleyball (from Wednesday)

Varsity: El Capitan defeats Central Valley 3-0

JV: El Capitan defeats Central Valley 2-0

Frosh-Soph: El Capitan defeats Central Valley 2-0

The Lady Hawks traveled to Merced on Wednesday night to take on the 1st place Gauchos.  El Capitan came away with the sweep in straight sets.  The Hawks will look to finish the season strong next week with 2 league games remaining.  Senior Night will be on Monday as the Hawks host the Golden Valley Cougars.  The season will finish up on Wednesday night at Atwater High.
